Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 14, 2026
Paycheck Pocket is a paycheck estimator made by Tun Labs for the United States and Australia, available as an Android app and on this website. This policy explains what Paycheck Pocket does with information.
Paycheck Pocket gives estimates only. It is not tax, legal, or financial advice.
No account, and no data on our servers
You do not create an account and you do not sign in. Tun Labs does not run a server that collects your name, email address, pay details, or other personal information.
Your paycheck inputs stay on your device
Everything you enter to calculate a paycheck stays on your phone (in the Android app) or in your browser (on the website calculator). It is never uploaded to Tun Labs. This includes:
- Jobs, pay rates, hours, overtime, holiday pay, shift differentials, and tips
- Filing status, state, withholding, and deduction choices
- Australia tax choices, such as residency, HELP/STSL, and salary sacrifice
- App settings, such as your language
- Whether Premium is unlocked on this device
In the app, uninstalling Paycheck Pocket removes this local data. On the website, you can remove it by clearing your browser’s site data.
Tax tables
Tax tables ship inside the app. The app may also download an updated public tax-table file from this website. That request only reads public tax data. It sends no personal data and none of your paycheck inputs. As with any web request, the hosting provider may process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the file.
Advertising in the Android app
The free Android app shows a banner from Google AdMob. If that banner does not load, it may show a Unity Ads banner instead. A Unity Ads video may play after you save a job or leave Breakdown. Google AdMob and Unity Ads may collect your device’s advertising ID, device and diagnostics data (such as device model, operating system, and crash or performance data), and approximate location derived from your IP address. They use this data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. You can reset or limit the advertising ID in your device settings. Before any ad loads, the app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP), through the Google Mobile Ads SDK, to request consent. AdMob and Unity start only after that step finishes, and only when ads are allowed. You can change your choice anytime from Privacy choices in Settings. Ads are not shown to Premium users. Google’s advertising policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Unity’s privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy.
Advertising on the website
The website may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses information in ads, and how to control it, at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Purchases
Premium is optional. It is sold through Google Play Billing, as a one-time Premium Lifetime purchase or a Yearly subscription that renews until you cancel it. Prices are set in Google Play.
Google Play processes the payment. Tun Labs never sees your card number, billing address, or other payment details. The app only stores whether Premium is unlocked on the device.
To cancel the Yearly subscription, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile photo, tap Payments & subscriptions, tap Subscriptions, tap Paycheck Pocket, then tap Cancel. Refunds follow Google Play’s rules.
Google’s privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Children
Paycheck Pocket is not directed at children under 13. Tun Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, the effective date at the top changes. Continued use of Paycheck Pocket means you accept the updated policy. Please check back periodically.
